As part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience and Safety of the Trans Community through Monitoring Anti-Gender Attacks and Movement Collaboration,” TransFormA developed the Policy Document for Advancing the Rights of Transgender People in North Macedonia. The project is implemented under the TGEU (Trans Europe and Central Asia) EECA Trans Community Small Grants 2026 programme.

The document is based on the experiences and needs of transgender, intersex, and non-binary people and identifies key challenges and priority areas for policy change. It focuses on safety and the freedom to live one’s gender identity authentically, social well-being, the right to work, health and healthcare, as well as strengthening the LGBTI community and activism.
